Corporate Services

Do you want to add value to your services?

You serve those who need you every day, but do you support the family members and friends who bear the burden of caring for them?

Why should you offer caregiver support?

Every day as you and your staff work with Family Caregivers, they see those Caregivers struggle to meet what they understand to be their loved ones’ needs. Those Caregivers typically know little about how you do your work and often do not understand what you can actually do to help their loved ones and, at the same time, ensure quality of care. Caregivers’ loved ones need the professional services you provide. At the same time, Family Caregivers need your support.

When you work with educated Family Caregivers, who understand not just what they want, but also what you can provide to meet critical needs, you will experience greater efficiency in how your services are used. Because the Family Caregivers know better what to expect, there will be fewer misunderstandings and greater cooperation on the part of the Family Caregivers.

By partnering with the Center for Caregiver Support to provide Family Caregiver support and education, you can reduce the burden on your staff, increase efficiency of service delivery, and reduce unnecessary use of resources.

"My wife, Susan, and I were blessed to meet Taylor in August 2020 as she was hosting a virtual caregiver support forum. Susan's mom had lived with us for more than 10 years and in the last 2 years with us she had declined to the point of needing 24 hour care in our home. We moved her into the Memory Care family at Discovery Villages Westchase late in 2019. When the Covid-19 lockdown began in early 2020 we, as did many other caregiver families, felt our own pain from this isolation and we could see it in mom even more deeply. To be able to connect with and open our hearts to other caregivers through Taylor's virtual meetings was a genuine ray of sunshine for us. As difficult as it sometimes can be to admit we need help, this is definitely not the time to shy away from it. Taylor and those who work with her are genuinely concerned and compassionate for both the caregivers and for those we care for. Her service is invaluable on so many levels, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!"

I went to church with Taylor for years and got to know her and came to recognize her passion for helping Caregivers. While helping my best friend look for an Assisted Living facility for his mom we contacted Taylor to help us. She was so professional and drove 2 hours to meet with my friend's family to help them make the move to an ALF as seamless as possible. Taylor goes above and beyond and is a caring and compassionate resource. Taylor also helped coach us through some challenging situations with my mother-in-law. We were able to discuss different scenarios and brainstorm outcomes, so we could be better caregivers. Taylor has amazing practical insight and experience. If you are a caregiver and need any help or support please contact Taylor. You won’t regret having her help you on your journey.

“I would never have made it this far on my journey with mom without help from others. I highly recommend all the help you can get while going down this road. Books, seminars, connecting with others.”

What We Offer

We offer Assisted Living Communities, Skilled Nursing Centers, and other professional care providers the opportunity to help their families and prospects by providing counseling services, support groups, and educational opportunities. Equally important, we work with you to create a support/education program for Family Caregivers that will provide a long-term benefit to you and your staff without adding additional workload.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Center educational programs, such as topical training sessions and our Family Caregiver Lunch & Bunch events, are popular with Family Caregivers throughout the communities we serve. Through your sponsorship of these activities, you can support caregiver education in your local area, letting Caregivers know that you care. Your sponsorship entitles you to listings on our website and in our resource directory. Sponsorship is a great way to make the Caregiver community aware of your services.

Support Groups

The Center will host carefully crafted Family Caregiver Support Groups on your behalf. Groups can be provided in your facility, at a location of your choice somewhere else in the community, and virtually. These groups can be for your current families, as well as be open to the community. Offering a group allows you to provide your current Family Caregivers with a means to connect, support, and inspire each other, as well as lead provide an opportunity to introduce yourself to other families in the community who may use your services in the future.

Counseling Services

Individual Family Caregiving Counseling is offered by Licensed Clinical Social Workers and can help your families with the transition of care. Our counselors can also help families understand a wide range of caregiving issues, including changes in family relationships, chronic care issues, memory issues, aging-related issues, and the grieving process. This service can help your facility by creating happier Family Caregivers who feel supported by you, while saving you time and reducing Caregiver misunderstandings.

Caregiving is hard, even on the good days when it brings joy and fulfillment. It requires dedication, determination, and time. - Rosalynn Carter
